Alex Macale<\/strong> was born in the Philippines and immigrated to Toronto, Ontario, Canada<\/b><\/span> at the age of 13. Growing up in Scarborough<\/b><\/span>, he completed both his high school and college education there, earning a diploma in Electronics Engineering<\/b><\/span>. Driven by a passion for technology, Alex later pursued a second diploma in IT Network Administration<\/b><\/span> and achieved multiple industry certifications, including Microsoft<\/b><\/span>, Novell<\/b><\/span>, and Cisco Systems<\/b><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n

His professional journey led him into the field of Supply Chain Management (SCM)<\/b><\/span>, I.T. sector, where he spent 12 years<\/b><\/span> developing his expertise. During this time, Alex honed essential communication, leadership, management, and business<\/b><\/span> skills that became invaluable assets in his later career. He also earned certifications from PMAC (Purchasing Management Association of Canada)<\/b><\/span>, obtaining a Certificate in Purchasing<\/b><\/span>, and was just a few workshops and courses away from completing his national CPP\/SCMP designation<\/b><\/span> before ultimately deciding to pursue a new path.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n

In his role as a Buyer<\/b><\/span>, Alex was responsible for Just-In-Time (JIT)<\/b><\/span> procurement of materials. He played a key part in mobilizing a centralized procurement department<\/b><\/span>, an initiative that resulted in significant annual cost savings—averaging $1.1 million per year<\/b><\/span>. His success stemmed from collaborating with cross-functional teams, eliminating unnecessary requisitions, streamlining procurement processes, and negotiating diligently to ensure win-win outcomes<\/b><\/span> for his department and the organization.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Real Estate Career: <\/b>While working in the supply chain management industry, Alex was introduced to the tender,<\/strong> sales and contract negotiation<\/b><\/span> side of business through his involvement with RFPs <\/b>(Requests for Proposals)<\/em><\/span> and RFQs <\/b>(Requests for Quotations)<\/em><\/span>. This experience sparked his interest in sales and ultimately led him to pursue a career in real estate<\/b><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Licensed under the Toronto Regional Real Estate Board (TRREB)<\/b><\/span> in 2009<\/b><\/span>, Alex initially viewed real estate as a backup plan. However, his interest quickly grew into a passion—especially as he discovered his talent for online marketing<\/b><\/span> at a time when digital strategies were just emerging in the real estate industry. By applying his analytical, marketing, and negotiation skills from his previous career, Alex successfully transitioned into becoming a full-time Realtor®<\/b><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n

Beyond helping clients buy and sell real estate, Alex enjoys renovating properties<\/b><\/span> as a hobby.
